Job summary

Lumo Imaging in Rockville, MD is seeking an experienced mechanical/ electromechanical technician to build, assemble, install and service LumoScanner units and subassemblies. You will travel to clinics and hospitals for week-long installations, align and calibrate systems, and hand over a working scanner.

You will document changes, train clinic staff on operation, and contribute to CAD-based design improvements. This role is on-site with periodic travel within the United States.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building, installing or servicing electromechanical equipment.
• Willingness to travel within the U.S. for week-long installations.
• Clear technical writing; able to write work instructions.
• Able to read and create engineering drawings and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install and service LumoScanner units and subassemblies at customer sites.
• Lead installations after initial trials and train the next installer.
• Document changes with serial numbers, drawings and BOMs; maintain as-built records.
• Travel to clinics and hospitals for installations and service; work as part of a two-person team when installing.
