Spectra Tech, Inc. seeks an experienced electromechanical technologist to support photovoltaic power systems research. We are looking for two candidates with hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, use of common hand tools, and electrical work.

The role requires lifting heavy test devices and working outdoors; on-site presence is essential. The candidate will operate indoor PV characterization tools, assist with outdoor PV system installation and maintenance, and document observations for

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in electronics or electro-mechanical technologies required.
• Experience in a lab setting with test setup, equipment operation, and data collection.
• Experience with mechanical assembly and common hand tools.
• Experience with data acquisition systems and laboratory instrumentation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L-level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate indoor PV characterization tools.
• Support outdoor PV system installation, instrumentation, and maintenance.
• Work in laboratory and outdoor settings.
• Monitor experiments and record observations for PV systems research.
• Document results for scientific reports and publications.
