Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a hands-on technician to set up, maintain, and improve assembly equipment for consistent in-spec parts. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, plus machining tasks as needed.

Strong teamwork and communication are essential as you operate forklifts and document diagnostics. A high school diploma and relevant hands-on experience are required for this role.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1.5 years of technical experience using mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills.
  • Intermediate troubleshooting capability across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Computer literacy for documentation, diagnostics, and SPC.
  • Effective teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Forklift certification required; ability to operate a forklift.
  • Fluency in English and in the primary language used in your area or location.

Responsibilities

  • Set up a range of assembly equipment to produce quality products.
  • Maintain plant structures and systems: electrical, heating, plumbing, machine repair, and hydraulics.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment; carry out preventative maintenance to prevent downtime.
  • Use statistical process charting, interpretation, and trend analysis to detect variation and adjust processes or equipment to bring parts into specification.
  • Perform machining/bench work to alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges, and guarding.
  • Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned.
