Job summary

Restek in Bellefonte, PA is seeking a Process Engineer I (Electromechanical). You will work with experienced engineers to solve production challenges, launch new technologies, and deliver improvements that affect safety, quality and productivity from day one.

This hands-on role offers mentorship, ownership of projects, and growth in a 100% employee-owned environment with strong emphasis on safety and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Curiosity for troubleshooting electromechanical systems alongside a senior engineer or manager.
• Proficiency with CAD (Solidworks preferred), EDA (Altium preferred), and programming environments.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methods (Six Sigma, Lean).
• Familiarity with manufacturing techniques: Machined components, CNC, 3D printing, mechanical assembly; SMT, testing; software/firmware.

Responsibilities

• Keep production running safely and smoothly.
• Help launch what's next by evaluating and scaling up new manufacturing technologies and processes.
• Drive continuous improvement by spotting opportunities and deploying solutions.
• Own documentation with clear experiment and procedure reports.
• Teach colleagues by training manufacturing personnel on new procedures and standards.
• Stay current in your field through seminars and continuing education.
