Job summary

100Hires, Inc. in St. Louis, MO is seeking an Electromechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our metal processing equipment running smoothly.

You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, read schematics, and assist in installing new machinery. This union-backed role offers up to $49/hour, overnight 12-hour scheduling, weekly pay, and a collaborative team environment that values safety, accuracy in documentation, and continuous skill

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an Electromechanical Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• PLC troubleshooting experience a plus
• Welding experience preferred but not required
• Proficient in using hand and power tools for maintenance tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electromechanical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
• Conduct inspections and tests to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
• Collaborate with team members to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.
• Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in electromechanical systems.
