Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking an Electromechanical Technician (Maintenance) to maintain and repair production equipment. You will perform repairs, installations, and testing on various machines, using hand and power tools as needed.

Requirements include LME Certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to read and interpret manuals, and strong mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems is a plus; capability to lift up to 80 pounds is required.

• Mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, electricity preferred.
• Lift tools and parts weighing up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install, adjust, and repair production equipment and special purpose machines as assigned.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts and complete tasks as assigned.
• Test malfunctioning machinery, troubleshoot and discuss repairs with supervisor for approval.
• Replace faulty parts, electrical wires, motors, controls, and circuit boards.
• Observe equipment for proper functioning and identify causes of trouble by listening and watching.
• Other duties related to the job may be assigned as needed.
