Sign-on Bonus: $5,000 + $3.00/hr for Night Shift

Position Location: Cudahy, Wisconsin

Reporting To: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Overview

Support plant operations through routine preventative maintenance, responding to equipment malfunctions including mechanical and electrical repairs. Tasks include fault repairs and facility improvements, promoting a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily preventative maintenance.
• Install, repair, and maintain machinery such as conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, compressors, chillers, and dryers.
• Conduct safety and alarm system checks.
• Troubleshoot electrical and PLC issues.
• Perform facility upkeep and documentation of repairs and maintenance.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain productivity and quality, suggest process improvements.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Manage spare parts inventory.
• Fabricate or source parts as needed.
• Perform tasks safely and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Be available for off-shift work and emergency call-ins.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the facility.
• Assist with machine start-ups and changeovers.
• Welding and fabrication experience required.

Qualifications

• Experience wiring single and three-phase motors.
• Troubleshooting PLCs (ControlLogix or Siemens).
• Hands-on industrial maintenance in a 24/7 environment.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, sensors, and switches.
• Proficient with tools and power tools.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals, and complete forms.
• Computer literacy (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Flexible schedule and ability to travel.

Education

Journeyman’s card with 3-5 years’ experience, or an Electromechanical degree. Manufacturing or paper converting experience is a plus.
