Job summary

Aerotek seeks a Maintenance Technician to join our Lincoln, NE team. This on-site role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of customer electromechanical equipment to OEM standards, with strict safety and quality adherence.

Documentation of work and continuous skill improvement are essential. The position requires reading schematics and blueprints, hands-on repair, and use of specialized testing equipment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• 2+ years of technical knowledge of industrial equipment and systems.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on experience with repair and assembly of electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and basic electronics used in industrial systems.

Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to all safety policies, procedures, and best practices while performing maintenance and repair work.
• Follow established Quality Assurance standards to ensure accurate, reliable, and repeatable repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair customer electromechanical equipment to OEM specifications and performance requirements.
• Accurately document all failure observations, diagnostic steps, and repairs performed in the appropriate systems and reports.
• Operate specialized repair, diagnostic, and testing equipment proficiently to evaluate and restore equipment functionality.
• Interpret and work from electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and blueprints to perform repairs and assembly tasks.
• Perform electrical and mechanical assembly, disassembly, and component replacement as required for maintenance and repair.
• Use hand tools and appropriate equipment safely and effectively to complete service and construction-related tasks.
• Apply knowledge of pneumatics, electronics, and industrial systems to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
