Qualifications

• 1+ year repairing or maintaining mechanical or electrical equipment in an industrial or non-industrial setting, OR 2 years of vocational training.
• Hands-on mechanical repair and maintenance skills, including lift trucks and material handling equipment.
• Basic electrical maintenance and repair for electronic equipment.
• Facilities maintenance experience including plumbing, painting, drywall repair.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance tasks according to procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and follow company guidelines.
• Strong detail orientation for work orders and logs.
• Clear verbal and written communication with associates and suppliers.
• Troubleshoot basic issues where the repair is visible or obvious.
• Work safely in environments with varying temperatures, heights, and noise.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly with customers, suppliers, and associates.
• Complete work orders, maintenance records, and logs accurately.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on lift trucks, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and related equipment.
• Operate material handling and battery equipment safely.
• Clean and maintain facility grounds, bathrooms, and building areas.
• Assist other maintenance technicians and share knowledge.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and take corrective action.
• Follow safety protocols for handling substances and in varying environments.
• Work across indoor and outdoor spaces, including uneven or slippery surfaces.
• Support facility reliability by identifying needs and reducing downtime.
