Job summary

DOC SERVICES is seeking Electromechanical Field Service Technicians to perform preventative and reactive maintenance on electromechanical equipment inside big box retail stores. Technicians work from home and respond to service calls as scheduled by the DSM.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment, complying with OSHA safety rules, documenting work with a handheld device, ordering parts, and traveling to customer locations to minimize downtime and protect

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of equipment repair experience or combination of training and experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read and understand schematics.
• Use computer applications including Microsoft Office and call management software.
• Know and understand safety regulations required as it relates to equipment repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform billable work by maintaining, troubleshooting and servicing equipment.
• Abide by OSHA, customer and DOC safety regulations including PPE requirements.
• Respond to service calls within customer expectations and DOC requirements.
• Provide documentation via handheld device.
• Perform repairs and maintenance ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with technical support as needed to avoid delays.
