Job summary

DOC SERVICES seeks Electromechanical Field Service Technicians to perform preventive and reactive maintenance on electromechanical equipment in big box retail stores. You’ll work from a home base and respond to service calls, performing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs to extend equipment life and minimize downtime.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of repair experience, ability to read schematics, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of equipment repair experience or equivalent training.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record with proof of insurance.
• Satisfactory background check and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform billable maintenance, troubleshooting and servicing of equipment.
• Adhere to OSHA, customer and DOC safety regulations and PPE rules.
• Respond to service calls within required timeframes and document work.
• Order parts, maintain inventory and return parts as directed.
• Travel to and from customer locations and work independently.
