Job summary

DOC SERVICES is seeking Electromechanical Field Service Technicians to service and repair equipment at customer sites across the US. The role involves troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, electrical and mechanical work, and timely dispatch to service calls from a DSM.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of equipment repair experience, the ability to read schematics, and a valid driver's license with clean record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of equipment repair experience or combination of training and experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read schematics.
• Use computer applications including Microsoft Office and call management software.
• Know and understand safety regulations required as it relates to equipment repair.
• Satisfactory background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform billable work by maintaining, troubleshooting and servicing equipment.
• Abide by all OSHA, customer and DOC safety regulations including PPE requirements.
• Respond to all service calls within customer expectations and DOC requirements.
• Provide all documentation as required by customer and DOC through handheld device.
• Perform cost effective service and repairs while maintaining quality.
• Available to be reached via phone for reactive service repairs unless otherwise approved.
• Order the correct parts needed for the repair.
• Travel to and from customer locations.
• As directed by DSM, evaluate preventable service problems at customer locations and educate or make recommendation to customer.
