Job summary

DOC Services Inc. is seeking a Field Service Maintenance Technician (Floater) to service and repair a range of light industrial equipment for big box retailers.

You will travel within a 3-hour radius of your service market and stay on the road for up to two and a half weeks per month, with overnight travel as needed. This role emphasizes preventative maintenance and reactive service, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and performing repairs using hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures and provide solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair machines.
• Respond to on-site preventative maintenance service calls within contract time frames.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisor, and coworkers.
