Job summary

DOC Services Inc. is hiring Field Service Maintenance Technicians (Floater) to perform preventative maintenance and reactive service on light industrial equipment at big box retailers within a multi-state travel radius.

The role requires troubleshooting, repairs, and on-site support with a focus on minimizing downtime and delivering excellent customer experience. Travel is a key component, with activities within a 3-hour service radius and overnight trips averaging at least 2.5 weeks per month.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to read schematics and interpret electrical diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures and provide a solution.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair machines.
• Respond to on-site preventative maintenance service calls within contract time frames.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisor, and coworkers.
