Job summary

DOC Services Inc. seeks a Field Service Maintenance Technician (Floater) to service and repair light industrial equipment at big box retailers within a 3-hour service radius, with periodic overnight travel.

You will perform preventative maintenance and reactive service, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and use hand and power tools. Strong communication with customers and team is essential to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures and provide solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair machines.
• Respond to on-site preventative maintenance service calls within contract timeframes.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisor, and coworkers.
