Job summary

GeoLogics is seeking Electromechanical Design Engineers for a top aerospace and defense client in Orlando, FL. The role focuses on CCA board layout and mechanical design using Creo/Windchill, with emphasis on connector selection, fit, and tolerance compliance.

Candidates should have a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of hands-on experience with CCA boards, Zuken, IPC standards, and aerospace program cycles. 4/10 schedule with 50% telework is offered.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with CCA board mechanical design and manufacturing support.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Creo and Windchill.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Zuken, IPC standards, and aerospace/defense product cycles.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate complex electronic hardware and ensure CCA board layout compliance.
• Create detailed mechanical layouts for CCA boards; select connectors and confirm fit, clearance, and tolerance.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and support DFM/DFA reviews; oversee test plans and board integration with enclosures.
• Document, manage BOM, and collaborate with mechanical, electrical, systems, reliability, and manufacturing teams.
