Job summary

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Orlando, FL is seeking an Electro Mechanical Engineer to lead hardware development for defense programs, including CCA/PWB packaging and harness assemblies. You will design 3D models, perform EMI/thermal analyses, mentor junior engineers, and maintain Windchill/CREO documentation, while collaborating with production, quality and customers.

This role requires US Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance; a BS in EE/ME or equivalent and 3+ years

Qualifications

• BS in EE/ME or related STEM; or 3 years with related Masters; or PhD/JD.
• Minimum 3 years of professional electromechanical engineering experience.
• Experience with CREO and Windchill or equivalent CAD and PLM tools.

Responsibilities

• Leading hardware teams through development and production, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of products
• Designing and developing electromechanical systems for missile and radar electronics, including CCA/PWB packaging, harness assemblies, and electronic enclosures
• Developing detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and layouts; selecting materials and processes
• Serving as an MRB authority, making informed technical decisions and driving issue resolution
• Defining acceptance test criteria and documenting results for hardware iterations
• Conducting thermal, shock, vibration, and EMI analyses to meet flight standards
• Supporting program planning and collaborating with senior management, production, quality, and customers
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and cross-functional teams
• Maintaining configuration control and design documentation in Windchill/CREO
