Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent.
• 1+ years of applicable professional experience.
• Familiarity with laboratory experimentation, test strategy development, experiment design, and integration and testing.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE, LabVIEW, SolidWorks, C/C++, or Python.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and availability during non-standard hours.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical studies involving testing, evaluation, analysis, or simulation of control hardware components.
• Verify contractor designs, approaches, and overall system performance.
• Supervise and support experiments in the Mechatronics Research Laboratory and other Aerospace labs.
• Interact with government customers, program management, and contractors.
• Communicate results as a technical authority to internal and external stakeholders.
