Job summary

Acro Service Corp in Redondo Beach, CA is seeking an Engineer Guidance Navigation Control 2 to join Space Park on-site. You will design, implement, verify and test GN&C algorithms and software for aerospace vehicles spanning aircraft, spacecraft and launch systems.

The role requires significant experience with MATLAB/Simulink or C/C++, actuator/sensor sizing, 3-DOF/6-DOF GNC modeling and verification; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or related engineering and ≥8 years of experience or
• Master's degree in a related field and ≥6 years of experience or
• PhD in a related field and ≥4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, implements, verifies and tests GN&C algorithms and software for aerospace vehicles.
• Performs simulations and validations of 3-DOF/6-DOF GNC systems.
• Performs actuator/sensor sizing and selection and supports on-console activation.
• Leads and collaborates with subsystem engineers and program leadership.
