Job summary

BAC Dayton is seeking a skilled electrical technician to translate blueprints and schematics into robust assemblies on the production line. You will wire and verify circuits, perform end-of-line tests with multimeters, and troubleshoot logic controls on cooling towers and related components.

Applicants should have 2+ years in motors/controls maintenance and wiring, with NEC knowledge and strong safety habits. Occasional travel and shift work are possible in a 24-hour production environment.

Qualifications

• 3-phase system experience with motors, motor controls, transformers and PLC interfaces.
• 1-phase 120Vac/24Vdc control circuits knowledge.
• Fluency in reading electrical wiring diagrams.
• 2+ years in motors/controls maintenance & troubleshooting plus 2+ years wiring experience.
• Working knowledge of the NEC and safety-first approach.
• Intermediate computer literacy for paperwork and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Turn blueprints and technical specs into accurate, high-quality assemblies.
• Read and apply electrical/electronic schematics to wire and verify circuits.
• Use multimeters to perform end-of-line checks and isolate faults.
• Troubleshoot logic controls and evaporative cooling tower components.
• Work at height with approved fall protection per OSHA requirements.
• Shift between lines and stations to support production priorities.
