L2x Talent Solutions in Mokena, IL is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to assemble machinery and build electrical control panels from start to finish, following blueprints and drawings.

You will read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, troubleshoot wiring issues, and document labor and job progress while maintaining safety and quality. Growth within a growing organization is offered with a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or 1–2 years experience in manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, or industrial technician role.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Experience operating a forklift is preferred; training can be provided.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is preferred but not required. Training may be provided for qualified candidates.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble machinery and equipment using mechanical blueprints and assembly drawings.
  • Build and wire electrical control panels from start to finish, including panel layout, component installation, tapping, and wiring according to AutoCAD Electrical schematics.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions to complete assigned tasks accurately.
  • Complete machine builds and component assemblies in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.
  • Assemble parts and equipment to fulfill customer sales orders.
  • Receive, verify, and track parts, materials, and belts used for production jobs and customer orders.
  • Follow all company procedures, safety policies, and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems, including wiring issues, faulty components, emergency stop circuits, and machine guarding systems.
  • Utilize basic computer skills to record labor, track jobs, and complete required documentation.
  • Assist with pneumatic and hydraulic system assembly, installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain and use personal hand tools required for daily responsibilities.
