Job summary

ZincFive in Tualatin, Oregon is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Technician II to perform electromechanical assemblies on the production floor. You will work with limited supervision and help train others, reading work instructions and using various tools.

The role emphasizes Lean concepts, process improvement, and data recording. You will maintain records, support inventory and shipping coordination, and ensure safety guidelines are followed; onsite at ZincFive headquarters.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; further technical training a plus.
• Minimum 1–3 years of assembly or test experience in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of QA concepts and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical assemblies according to BKM at headquarters in Tualatin.
• Operate a variety of machine and hand tools to complete tasks.
• Assist manufacturing engineer with process improvements and takt time reductions.
• Read and follow work instructions and maintain station records.
• Support inventory control and workflow management to prevent shortages.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections per guidelines.
• Escalate issues to supervisor and propose short/long-term solutions.
• Ensure OSHA and safety guidelines are followed and keep area clean.
