Aerotek is seeking an Electromechanical Assembler in Cypress, TX to perform hands-on mechanical and basic electrical assembly for transformers and power equipment. You will use hand and power tools, follow prints, and work on an assembly line with a safety-focused culture.

Responsibilities include mounting heavy components, measuring parts, routing wires, and collaborating with a team in a climate-controlled warehouse environment with potential overtime as production needs require.

Competenze

• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in mechanical assembly.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 12-hour days when required.
• Capable of reading mechanical prints and following layouts precisely.
• Experience handling heavy components safely on an assembly line.
• Willingness to learn electrical assembly tasks under guidance.

Mansioni

• Perform mechanical assembly tasks using hand and power tools to build transformers and related power equipment.
• Stack and position metal components to support transformer and switchgear assembly.
• Measure materials precisely with a tape measure for proper fit and alignment.
• Install and mount heavy components such as breakers and transformers per mechanical prints.
• Route wires and bundle cables, ensuring clean, safe electrical assemblies.
• Follow assembly line processes to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and support continuous improvement on the line.
• Read and interpret mechanical prints; use wiring diagrams when applicable.
