Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Anaheim, CA is seeking an Assembler B to perform electro-mechanical assembly and cable harness work under supervision. You will read engineering drawings, assemble components, apply soldering per ANSI-J-STD-001 and possibly IPC standards, and ensure quality, safety, and productivity.

The role involves using hand tools, handling parts up to 35 pounds, maintaining a clean workspace, recording work time, and collaborating with production leads to meet manufacturing goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4 years of relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/Associates Degree with 0–2 years of related experience.
• 1–4 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical assembly and inner chassis wiring using hand tools per instructions and requirements.
• Assemble cable and harness assemblies as needed by production.
• Apply soldering per Military specs or ANSI-J-STD-001 when required.
• Read engineering drawings and BOMs to ensure accurate installation.
• Identify hardware and understand standard installation sequences.
• Use appropriate tools for each operation and handle parts weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Maintain safety and clean work area; record time charged to jobs.
