Job summary

Cristek, a Qnnect company, seeks an experienced Electromechanical Assembler I to build and inspect precision wire harnesses and cable assemblies used in aerospace and defense. You will read drawings, perform crimping, soldering, and routing, and conduct tests to ensure quality.

This role requires attention to detail and teamwork. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in harness assembly, J-STD and IPC/WHMA-A-620 certs, and the ability to work under a microscope.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Cristek, a Qnnect company, is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Assembler I to build, inspect, and test precision wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and electromechanical components used in aerospace and defense applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies using specialized hand tools and equipment.
• Perform wire preparation, crimping, soldering, connectorization, and cable routing.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Conduct continuity testing, inspections, troubleshooting, and authorized rework.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and follow quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production to meet customer specifications and delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of wire harness and cable assembly manufacturing experience.
• Required J-STD and IPC/WHMA-A-620 certifications.
• Strong crimping, soldering, connectorization, and precision assembly skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings, use measuring instruments, and work under a microscope.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to meet applicable ITAR U.S.-person eligibility requirements.
