Adecco is seeking Mechanical Assemblers in Peabody, MA for a temp-to-perm role. Shifts available: 1st shift 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; 2nd shift 2:30 PM–1:00 AM.
Pay ranges from $23.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on shift and experience. Responsibilities include reading engineering schematics, assembling components, verifying fit and function, troubleshooting defects, and maintaining organized workspaces with preventive maintenance on machinery.
Adecco is hiring for Mechanical Assemblers for a manufacturer in Peabody! These are temp to perm opportunities.
1st shift schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-330pm
2nd shift schedule: Monday-Thursday 230pm-1am
Pay rate: 1st shift - $23-25 per hour, 2nd shift - $26-27 per hour
Interpretation: Read and decipher engineering schematics, blueprints, and bills of materials (BOMs).
Component Assembly: Align, fit, and secure parts together using hand tools, power tools, or hoists.
Quality Assurance: Examine connections for correct fit, measure completed components, and test for proper functionality.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve assembly defects or malfunctions, notifying supervisors of persistent issues.
Inventory & Maintenance: Maintain organized workspaces, track supply levels, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery.
Experience: Previous manufacturing or production experience,
Technical Skills: Ability to read technical drawings and properly utilize torque wrenches, calipers, and other measurement tools.
Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity and the physical ability to lift heavy components and stand for extended periods.
Pay Details: $23.00 to $27.00 per hour
