Job summary

Lam Research in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Technical Instructor to deliver training on complex Lam equipment to internal and external customers. You'll conduct training at Lam training centers, develop lesson plans, collaborate with engineering and support teams, and may relocate to Tualatin, OR for product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; 2+ years’ related experience preferred.
• Experience in technical, mechanical, or maintenance fields.
• Strong organizational skills and prioritization ability.
• Clear, confident written and verbal communication.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong service instincts.
• Effective presentation and facilitation skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training to customers and Lam employees at Lam Training Centers on complex scenarios across multiple products.
• Use PBET standards and hands-on training with Lam equipment; deliver lectures and online classes.
• Collaborate with engineering, tech support, and manufacturing to align course material with current features.
• Validate material with the course development team and prepare plans from released docs.
• Willing to relocate for qualification periods (e.g., Tualatin, OR) and may be extended stays.
• Travel up to 30% in the first year.
