Job summary

Crane Co. seeks a manufacturing tester to perform assigned testing operations in the specified functional area, interpreting work orders, drawings, and procedures.

You will calibrate or adjust units, perform calculations, and document results with care for quality standards. The role involves both automated and manual testing using a range of equipment, ensuring compliance with safety policies and production specs.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a highly regulated manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with product flow through a manufacturing or repair environment
• Working knowledge of computer systems
• Proficient in English written and spoken communication
• Ability to learn new test software and equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned testing operations in the specified functional area
• Create non-conformance reports with detailed testing results and initial root cause findings
• Calibrate or adjust units using potentiometer, clocking, shimming and other adjustments
• Perform automated and manual testing with various test equipment
• Support safety policies and CBS initiatives such as 5S and KPI
