Job summary

Crane Co. in Lynnwood, WA, seeks a detail-oriented testing technician to perform assigned testing operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will create non-conformance reports, interpret work orders, and assist with calibration and adjustments of test units.

The role requires the ability to learn new test software, strong problem solving, and good English communication. You will work with various test equipment and may travel occasionally; Crane offers a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
Familiarity with product flow through manufacturing or repair environment.
Proactive problem solving and strong communication in English.

Responsibilities

Perform assigned testing operations within assigned functional area.
Create non-conformance reports with detailed testing descriptions, failures, and initial root cause investigations.
Interpret work orders, drawings, and test procedures to guide testing activities.
Calibrate or adjust units, perform calculations for electrical and mechanical specs as required.
Conduct automated and manual testing using diverse equipment and test consoles.
Document results and participate in safe-work practices per OSHA and Crane policy.
Support CBS initiatives including 5S, KPI tracking, and standard work.
Overtime may be required; perform other duties as assigned.
