Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, or wire diagrams.
• IPC J-STD-001 specialist, IPC-A-610 specialist, and IPC-A-620 specialist certifications are required or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Assemble test and data acquisition systems, test fixtures, cables, harnesses, and PCB assemblies.
• Design and lay out electrical shelves/panels.
• Collaborate with engineers to identify, define and solve problems before, during and after assembly.
• Modify prototypes, parts, assemblies, and systems to correct defects.
• Test completed assemblies to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain IPC certifications and follow company documentation standards.
• Maintain inventory and tools; promote safe work environment.
• Travel infrequently to company and customer sites within the northeast US.
