Job summary

SLB is seeking an Assembler to assemble components across product lines and test completed units. The role requires reading blueprints, using hand tools, and performing rework with precision. You will document labor records and contribute to continuous improvement in the Manufacturing System.

The candidate should have 2 years electro-mechanical assembler experience and a minimum high school diploma, with higher technical education preferred. IPC 610/620 knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school degree; higher technical education preferred.
• 2 years electro-mechanical assembler experience.
• IPC 610 or IPC 620 is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures.
• Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
• Ensure ability to read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Create labor records for all transactions.
• Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
