Job summary

Thompson Pipe Group in Palatka, FL is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair and install electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across the manufacturing facility. The role supports continuous production by minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability while upholding safety and regulatory standards. Pay is $25.00-$35.00 per hour for first shift (6:00 AM–4:30 PM); US work authorization and 5+ years of experience required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an electrical technician in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work with high/low voltage and 3-phase motor circuits.
• Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and AC/DC motor drives.
• Willingness for emergency on-call service.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Install, startup, and shut down equipment per safety procedures and OSHA.
• Inspect and maintain hoists, cranes, power supplies, boilers, and gearboxes.
• Coach operators and maintenance staff on safe operating procedures.
