Job summary

Thompson Pipe Group in Palatka, FL is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across the production facility. The role supports continuous uptime and safety compliance.

Candidates should have 5+ years in electrical maintenance in manufacturing, read/write English (Spanish a plus), and experience with PLCs and AC/DC drives. Willingness to shift work and overtime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an electrical technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and write in English (Spanish is a plus).
• Experience with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Experience with reading mechanical drawings (hydraulics, pneumatics).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and/or electric/electronic equipment.
• Plan and perform work with knowledge of electrical/mechanical theories and safety procedures.
• Install, start up and shut down equipment per safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Advise operators on operational procedures and safety requirements.
• Must be able to work with PLCs and AC/DC motor drives.
