Job summary

Thompson Pipe Group in Bakewell, TN is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across the facility. The role supports continuous production and safety compliance; pay ranges from $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience, with a 1st shift 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as an electrical technician in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and write in English; Spanish skills are a plus.
Experience with high/low voltage electrical systems and 3-phase motor circuits.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
Bilingual English/Spanish would be helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment including hoists, cranes, motors, and gearboxes.
Plan and perform work with knowledge of electrical/mechanical theory, codes, and safety procedures.
Install, start up, and shut down equipment per OSHA safety requirements.
Inform management and operators of potential problems and safety concerns.
Work with PLCs and AC/DC motor drives; test, diagnose, and maintain production equipment.
Collaborate with team and lead where needed.
