Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an electrical technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and write in English; Spanish helpful but not required.
• Experience with high/low voltage electrical systems and 3-phase motors.
• Must be able to pass drug test and technical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment in a steel pipe facility.
• Plan and perform work with knowledge of electrical and mechanical theories, codes, materials, and equipment operation.
• Install, start up, and shut down equipment per safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Advise operators on safe operation procedures and necessary equipment changes.
• Identify potential equipment problems and communicate risks to management.
• Install, test, diagnose, repair, and maintain production and building equipment.
• Coordinate with team to keep operations running smoothly and safely.
• Follow procedures and adopt innovations to improve efficiency and safety.
