Job summary

Wisenbaker-Builder-Services seeks an Electro-Mechanical Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair highly automated production equipment on the shop floor. You will independently identify root causes and complete repairs to minimize downtime, working with PLC-controlled systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance on European-manufactured equipment, CNC machines, saws, routers, edgebanders, sanders, and conveyors, with a focus on

Qualifications

• Technical diploma, associate degree, or certification in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing automated manufacturing or production machinery.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled production equipment.
• Experience working with European automated machinery is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical components, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair automated production machinery.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on European-manufactured equipment, CNC machines, saws, routers, edgebanders, sanders, paint and finishing systems, and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and identify problems involving sensors, inputs, outputs, relays, motors, drives, and control systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
