Job summary

Clopay Corporation is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician for the Mountaintop facility on 2nd shift (3:00 pm–11:00 pm). The role requires multi-craft skill proficiency, including control panel wiring, PLC troubleshooting, and deep-dive diagnostics. Overtime may be required to keep equipment running.

Qualifications include an Associate degree in Controls and Automation or 7–10 years in automation, plus experience with CAD drawings, HMIs, and CNCs. Crane and Fork truck licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or HS with 7–10 years automation experience.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, or CNC controllers.
• Ability to read CAD and product drawings.
• Wiring and building control panels for new machines.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in trainings and developing skills in controls and automation.
• Participate in software and schematic updates and document equipment.
• Support assigned shift and assist others with downed equipment.
• Work in preventive maintenance, projects, and machine breakdowns as required.
