Job summary

HII Mission Technologies’ Uncrewed Systems (UxS) division seeks a skilled Technician to assemble and test electro-mechanical assemblies for autonomous vehicles and related equipment, following drawings and specifications.

You will read schematics, use test equipment such as oscilloscopes and signal generators, and work with engineering to troubleshoot and improve procedures.

AA Degree with 1 year of related experience plus the ability to obtain a government security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• AA Degree in related discipline + 1 year of related experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform integration, assembly, and test of new systems vehicles and auxiliary equipment from work instructions and assembly drawings.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting with engineering and software development in order to identify and correct system level problems with vehicles and auxiliary equipment.
• Must be able to read and understand diagnostic data.
• Must be able to read and understand Technical schematics.
• Must be able to setup and use test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other input/output electronic test equipment.
• Must be familiar with general computer operation.
• Must be able to perform basic soldering.
• Toubleshoot PWBA's, Assemblies and Modules; discuss technical problems with Engineering.
