Job summary

Dematic is seeking an Electrical Mechanical Technician 3 in Beech Island, SC for immediate coverage. Candidates should have 4+ years in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, and preventive maintenance.

You will work on PLCs and HMIs, read schematics and panel drawings, perform commissioning and engineering design tasks, and support material handling equipment. This role operates on rotating shifts, with overtime and weekend work possible, and offers career

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Industrial maintenance.
• Proficient in PLC communications and HMIs.
• Familiar with schematic and panel drawings.
• Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Complete preventative maintenance routines and documentation.
• Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.
• Create and close work orders into asset management system with data on labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and determine resources needed to resolve them.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Perform routine maintenance and equipment testing to meet specifications.
• Respond to service calls and correct equipment faults.
• Identify problems and take corrective steps.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
