Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Stevens Point, WI is seeking an electronics/mechatronics technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and parts.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with machines, PLCs, HMIs, and electrical circuits, plus a commitment to OSHA safety and quality. An associate degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics or electro/mechanical maintenance, or combination of education and experience equivalent to five years in related work.
• Knowledge of machines, tools, and their maintenance; PLCs and HMIs; single/three phase circuits; servos; AC/DC motors and drives; OSHA standards.
• Mathematical and language skills to understand manuals and perform technical tasks.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and implement fixes; manage time and projects.
• Commitment to safety, reliability, and compliance with company policies and environmental health and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical aspects of production equipment and parts.
• Repair production equipment and parts.
• Requisition parts as needed.
• Assist with modifications, installation, and moving of equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment compliant with OSHA standards.
• Provide timely information to supervisors and coworkers.
• Identify and implement improvements in work processes.
• Serve as a positive role model by upholding Sheridan’s core values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
