Job summary

Creation Technologies in Wisconsin is seeking an entry-level Engineering Tech 1 to perform basic equipment repairs and routine preventive maintenance in our high-tech electronics manufacturing environment.

You will troubleshoot, support lockout/tagout safety, log repairs in CMMS, and collaborate with Operations and Engineering to keep machines running, improve reliability, and contribute to on-time delivery of customer orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or military training.
• Vocational skills preferred.
• 1–3 years electronics manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of lock out tag out (LOTO) safety and equipment operation.
• Proficient with basic tools and simple measuring devices.
• Effective English communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to follow detailed instructions.
• CMMS familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a foundational understanding of equipment operation and LOTO safety procedures.
• Executes equipment repair tasks and performs routine preventive maintenance under supervision.
• Takes care of CMMS updates with repair parts usage and PM logging.
• Handles routine preventive maintenance and escalates issues to meet specs and safety standards.
• Collaborates within Operations and Engineering to meet objectives.
• Assists with Installation Qualification activities on new and relocated equipment.
• Supports continuous improvement by providing feedback on equipment state.
• Provides input on refurbishment or replacement needs for equipment.
