Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician Apprentice to join our manufacturing team. You will become an Electro-Mechanical Technician through a blend of coursework and on-the-job training, maintaining production equipment and performing preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

You’ll learn to service pneumatics, hydraulics, drive systems, motors, PLC concepts, and electrical components, while developing skills to advance to a full-time role as an Electro-Mechanical

Qualifications

• Have your high school diploma/GED.
• Are a creative problem solver eager to improve mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Have demonstrable competency in both mechanical and electrical areas.
• Love hands-on and practical work.
• Enjoy working with machinery and power tools.
• Are proactive and detail-oriented.
• Have good communication skills and are a team player, but also able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production-related equipment and perform preventative maintenance to eliminate unplanned stoppages.
• Increase asset intensity and build operator technical capabilities.
• Assist with planned work schedules and provide technical training to Operators.
