Very Good Manufacturing seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain four high-speed beverage lines. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, trace circuits to dead sensors, and rebuild gearboxes as needed.
Log repairs in the CMMS and brief the incoming shift with clear notes. Applicants need 3+ years on production or packaging equipment, reading schematics, and safe lockout/tagout practice.
Very Good runs four production lines under one roof, two bottling and two canning, plus the tank room that feeds them. We blend, bottle, and can distilled spirits and ready-to-drink cocktails for the biggest beverage-alcohol brands in the world. When a line stops, about half the time it is a mechanical problem and half the time it is electrical. This job exists because we need someone who works both sides: trace the circuit to the dead sensor, then pull the gearbox behind it and rebuild that too.
Helps, but not required: food, beverage, or spirits manufacturing. Filling, capping, labeling, or case-packing equipment. VFD setup. Welding (MIG, TIG, or stick). Refrigeration or HVAC certification. Spanish.
This is the wrong job for an electrician who will not touch a gearbox, or a mechanic who treats the panel as off-limits.
$30 to $45 per hour depending on experience, plus overtime and a performance bonus. Full-time, on-site in Fort Worth.
This position works in and around an active production facility: moving machinery, forklift traffic, glass, and ethanol vapors, with noise and temperature variation. It requires standing, walking, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in tight or awkward positions for extended periods, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. This is a safety-sensitive position: lockout/tagout procedures apply, and PPE is required in designated areas. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
