Henkel Corporation, Adhesive Technologies Production in Chicago, IL, is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to support chemical manufacturing operations. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.

Formación

• Associate degree or technical certification in Electromechanical Technology or related field preferred.
• 5+ years electro-mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, motors, instrumentation, and automated production equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond to equipment breakdowns.
• 2nd Shift (Mon-Fri) 3:00PM–11:00PM CST.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in chemical manufacturing operations.
• Diagnose and repair motors, drives, PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, conveyors, pumps, mixers, and automated systems.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation, control devices, and electrical components in processing operations.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings to identify issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements including LOTO and hazardous energy control.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance to implement continuous improvement and root-cause actions.
