We are seeking talented individuals to join our Shelbyville Liquids production plant as an Electrical Maintenance Technician.

Job Overview

The Electrical Maintenance Technician installs, tests, repairs, and maintains electrical and electronic machinery, support equipment, and systems throughout the site, reporting to and assisting with electrical and mechanical issues.

Starting Pay & Shifts

$28-32/hour, based on skillset, plus $1.50 night shift premium. Shifts are 12-hour straight nights (2-2-3 schedule, 7:00-7:00), with every other weekend off.

Responsibilities

• Perform work assignments via work orders, blueprints, and verbal instructions, adhering to codes and regulations.
• Troubleshoot equipment using PLC programs, manuals, and diagrams.
• Respond to emergency repairs, including fire system issues during off-hours.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems and components.
• Install conduits, wire connections, and repair or replace wiring and fixtures.
• Inspect electrical systems for hazards and compliance.
• Maintain production machinery, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Install, modify, and relocate machinery and equipment, performing other maintenance tasks as needed.
• Read and interpret PLC programs, schematics, blueprints, and instructions.
