The position requires attention to detail and skill to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment. Strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and a proactive approach to ensuring equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Essential Functions
  1. Install, maintain, and repair electromechanical systems including motors, PLCs, sensors, conveyors, pumps, and control panels
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  3. Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
  4. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment
  5. Uphold all OSHA regulations, GMP's, and food safety regulations
  6. Collaborate with production teams to support equipment upgrades and process improvements
  7. Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and technical reports
  8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
  9. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating professionally with clients, customers, co-workers, and supervisors
  10. Perform any other duties as assigned by the manager and/or designee
  11. Assist with calibration and testing of equipment as needed
Required Work Experience and Skills
  1. Must have 3+ years' experience in mechanical maintenance, repair, and installation in a manufacturing environment
  2. Strong ability in electrical maintenance, including 480v 3-phase motors, VFDs, and controls
  3. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, blueprints, motor drivers, controls, and PLC inputs/outputs; troubleshooting skills
  4. Certification in industrial maintenance or electromechanics, welding, and fabrication experience
  5. Strong troubleshooting skills; understanding root cause analysis and impact on production
  6. A self-starter with a drive to succeed and a can-do attitude
  7. Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and training in related fields

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Requires standing, manual dexterity, reaching, walking, climbing, stooping, lifting up to 75 pounds, and good vision abilities. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, and loud noise levels is common.
