Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join the Maintenance Department in Richmond, VA. You will support production operations, ensuring safe operation of electrical testing equipment and performing preventive and corrective maintenance.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, can troubleshoot independently, and document work orders in CMMS.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in a related field; strong maintenance background preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment independently.
• Experience documenting work orders and maintenance in CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and reliable operation of production testing equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance independently.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with minimal supervision.
• Identify equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Accurately document maintenance work, downtime, and repairs in CMMS systems.

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join their team. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:

$28.00-$32.00

Shift:

1st shift (6am - 6pm) - 2 openings 2nd shift (6pm - 6pm) - 2 openings

What's the Job?

• Ensure safe and reliable operation of production electrical testing equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance independently
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with minimal supervision
• Identify equipment issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions
• Accurately document maintenance work, downtime, and repairs in CMMS systems

What's Needed?

• Degree in a related field, technical or vocational training with certification, or 5-8 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment independently
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and documenting work orders
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
