Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for our client, a leading manufacturing organization, to join the Maintenance Department in York, PA. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing electrical systems, PLCs, and mechanical equipment to keep plant operations running smoothly.

This direct-hire opportunity offers on-call rotations and a benefits package after 60 days, plus opportunities for professional growth and skill development. The position is 1st shift, 7am–3pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4-10 years of related experience.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with electrical systems, PLCs, and mechanical equipment.
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Availability for 24-hour on-call rotations and training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building and equipment systems, including electrical, PLCs, and mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical machinery.
• Install new machinery and upgrade systems for safety and productivity improvements.
• Assist in maintaining fire alarm, CO2 systems, boiler steam systems, and air compressors.
• Support plant operations by assisting in various maintenance tasks and responding to emergencies.
