Qualifications

Position: Electro-Mechanical Technician

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Brand: Keller Electrical

Segment: Pumps and Motor Technologies

Provider of industrial electrical services, equipment, components and supplies. The company's services include integration, installation and repair services for industrial electrical motors, generators and transformers. The company's infrastructure services include motor repairs and services, controls manufacturing, electrical design/build, electrical and mechanical field services, and product sales.

The Pump Motor Technology group is currently comprised of 14 companies spread throughout the United States and still growing! Our aim is to be the primary source for rotating equipment and process equipment solutions in the industrial and municipal markets. The PMT group prides itself on providing a complete solution for the ever-expanding pump and motor industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Work with shop supervisor for equipment inspection and repair assessments.
2. On-site inspection and testing of customer's equipment.
3. Serve as lead representative for installation and commissioning of repaired equipment.
4. Vibration data collection and analysis utilizing latest technologies.
5. Data collection and reporting utilizing infrared thermography and motor test equipment.
6. Perform laser alignments.
7. Field work performing on-site alignment and balancing functions.
8. Perform other duties as required.

Skills Required:

1. Must be certified as a Level I or higher Vibration Analyst with intent to continue to become Level II or higher.
2. Minimum of 3 years hands-on repair/rebuild experience with industrial rotating equipment.
3. Proven experience with precision rotating shaft alignments, field balancing and troubleshooting of rotating apparatus.
4. Prepare detailed machinery condition assessment reports, review with customers and make recommendations for other preventative maintenance.
5. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
6. Ability to complete required safety training classes and comply with OSHA, MSHA or any authority having jurisdiction.
7. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
8. Must be willing to work overtime or on call to satisfy customer requests.
9. Able to travel to other locations for temporary assignments, meetings, and training involving some overnight travel required.
10. Highly motivated with interpersonal skills to effectively work in a collaborative team environment that includes shared responsibilities, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others, supporting team and company objectives, and a willingness to work in all areas required by the team.
