Electro - Mechanical Technician

Contract Position
Pay Estimated: $27.96-$32.96/Hour

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
Support engineering in the design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems, including specialized test equipment and optical/electronic devices.
Interpret and work from engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics to assist in the development and validation of hardware systems.
Construct, modify, troubleshoot, calibrate, and test a variety of tools and systems used in research and production environments.
Conduct and document data-driven experiments to define and refine process parameters.
Implement and record process improvement solutions and findings.
Design and fabricate custom tooling and fixtures to support unique testing and assembly requirements.
Analyze and interpret technical data to identify cause-and-effect relationships and propose effective engineering solutions.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
U.S. Citizenship required by Federal Law.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a technical or engineering support role.
Proficiency in the use of fabrication tools and ability to build complex hardware.
Solid understanding of core technical theory in electromechanical systems.
